A man in his 70s has died in a villa fire in Löddeköpinge in Skåne, the police write on their website.
The fire broke out early on Sunday morning, and when the rescue service arrived at the scene, the house was in full fire.
The man in the residence was retrieved by smoke divers and taken to hospital, but his life could not be saved. The cause of the fire is still unclear.
