A man in his 75s has died after a drowning accident in Säveån, reports Göteborgs-Posten.
According to the newspaper, the man was found in Säveån in the Kviberg district at 19.30 on Sunday. The rescue service was alerted to the scene.
The caller is said to have alerted about a boat that is lying and is in progress without anyone being in it, said Johan Ljung, duty officer at the police in region Väst, to Göteborgs-Posten.
The man's life could not be saved. The police suspect no crime in connection with the incident.
