A man in his 60s is sentenced to three years in prison for, among other things, serious sexual offenses against children, reports Nerikes Allehanda.
The offenses began in 2022 when the child was very small, and have since continued until 2025.
In the man's mobile phone, eight assault images were also found, of which three are considered particularly ruthless.
The man is now sentenced in Örebro district court for two cases of serious sexual assault against children, as well as child pornography offenses. In addition to the prison sentence, the man must pay damages to the child of 360,000 kronor.
"Considering the nature of the crimes and the penalty value, any other sentence than imprisonment cannot be considered", the district court writes according to the newspaper.
