A man in his 60s died in connection with a drowning accident off Landskrona on Monday, reports Helsingborgs Dagblad.
The incident occurred near a beach, where people discovered a lifeless man in the water.
Ambulance and rescue services arrive and care is initiated and he is taken to hospital, says Fredrik Bratt, press spokesperson at the police's control center, to the newspaper.
The police announced later in the evening that the man's life could not be saved.
