A man has died after being hit by a tree in Sandviken, reports SVT Gävleborg.
The man, in his 50s, was out walking on a lighted trail at the Kungsberget ski resort when a tree was blown over in the storm.
The alarm was received by SOS Alarm at 1 p.m. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries, but his life could not be saved.
