A man in his 60s has died after being hit by a tree in Härnösand. The man was working on clearing land in connection with storm Johannes, writes Tidningen Ångermanland.
The accident occurred at 4 p.m. and the man was employed by the company Hemab.

This is the second death on Saturday where a person was trapped under a falling tree.
A man in his 50s was out walking on a lighted trail at Kungsberget ski resort outside Sandviken when a tree was blown over in the storm, reported SVT Gävleborg.
The alarm was received by SOS Alarm at 1 p.m. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries, but his life could not be saved.
