The man, who denies any wrongdoing, has been arrested on suspicion of, among other things, instigating and aiding and abetting murder, attempted murder, involving a minor in crime, serious weapons offences and explosions.
He landed in Sweden on Friday after being extradited from Spain. A detention hearing was held yesterday, and the district court decided that he should remain in custody, prosecutor Ida Arnell tells SVT.
According to the prosecutor, the man was one of those who directed young people to commit serious violent crimes in Sweden.
