The accident in Trollhättan was a single-vehicle accident and occurred just after 8:30 a.m. Friday. The road at the scene was completely closed during the morning.
At lunchtime, another accident occurred on Road 542 in Härryda municipality, where a motorcycle rider in his 50s died. A passenger car was also involved, and the accident is currently being investigated as causing another person's death and negligent driving. There is no suspect in the case yet, the police wrote on their website.
