A man in his 20s has died after an explosion on a farm in Hässleholm municipality, according to the police.
The man was taken by ambulance and was taken to the hospital where he died of his injuries. The police have cordoned off the area to investigate what detonated.
It is on a farm outdoors where a box with some form of explosive content has been handled. Then exactly what it contained, we are investigating, says the police's press spokesperson Filip Annas.
The police describe it as an accident, but the formal suspicion of crime to be able to investigate the event is a crime against fire hazardous and explosive goods.
