A man in his 70s was found dead in an ice hole on Thursday evening in Storumans municipality.
At 7 pm in the evening, a person saw an abandoned vehicle near a lake and a hole further out, so the person alerted the rescue service, who found him dead, says Mathias Borin, duty officer at the police North.
It is unclear what has happened or how long the man had been in the hole, but the police do not suspect that any crime is behind it.
