A man in his 30s has died after a fire in a leisure home in Skellefteå. His relatives have been notified, the police write on their website.
According to the newspaper Norran, the rescue service received an alarm about the fire just after 10 pm on Monday evening. The man was taken out by smoke divers and was taken to the hospital by ambulance helicopter, but his life could not be saved.
The rescue service extinguished the fire around midnight and had after-surveillance all night. The police have filed a report of arson to be able to investigate the incident thoroughly. There is no suspect.
