The incident reportedly occurred on a pedestrian and cycle path in Oskarshamn on Sunday evening. The man was able to get to his home and call the police himself at around 7:30 p.m.
It is not clear how seriously the man is injured, but police were able to briefly question the man.
The incident is being investigated as aggravated assault, but police have no suspect.
