A man in his 40s was found lifeless outdoors in a residential area in Varberg during the night leading up to Saturday. The man had severe external injuries and died despite the life-saving efforts of the ambulance personnel.
The police have initiated an investigation into the murder.

The police have conducted a technical investigation and the area has been cordoned off. In the process, items of interest to the investigation have been seized, among other things.
