A man has been found dead outdoors at his residence in a smaller town in Jämtland. The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into suspected murder due to "unclear circumstances" surrounding the death.
A person was arrested during the evening but was later released as the suspicions weakened, according to the police on their website.
The police are very tight-lipped about the incident.
We are not releasing any more information in consultation with the investigation leader, says the police's regional commander Emelie Danielsson.
A forensic medical examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
