A 65-year-old man has been found dead in connection with a rescue operation outside Mariestad.
During the night to Wednesday, a boat drifted ashore on an island outside Otterbäcken, with the engine running, the police write on their website. A rescue operation was carried out during the day, including a helicopter. The man was then found deceased.
The police suspect no crime. Relatives have been informed.
