A witness who had seen the man lying on the ground called the police at 10:52 p.m. on Saturday. The man, who is in his 40s, fell from the third floor and was taken by ambulance to hospital, where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
The two people arrested, a man in his 50s and a woman in her 40s, were arrested in the same building where the incident occurred. They are suspected of attempted murder.
Immediately after we spoke with the woman and man, they were arrested on suspicion of criminal intent, says Ola Österling, press spokesperson for the police.
According to Österling, it is not entirely clear where the man fell from, but it is suspected that it was from a balcony.
At least it's near a balcony, that much I can say.
