The man was previously detained as reasonably suspected of aiding attempted murder, which is the lower degree of suspicion. The detention hearing was held on Saturday at Gävle District Court.
On Friday, a man was also detained on probable cause suspected of aiding attempted murder and serious weapons offense.
Six people were injured in the shooting in central Gävle the night before last Saturday. A then 13-year-old boy is suspected of firing the shots. According to the prosecutor, the incident can likely be linked to gang crime, but none of the people hit by the shots are believed to have been the actual targets.
