A man in Halland is being prosecuted for having dug in loose candy with his hands, reports P4 Halland.

The man is said to have taken candy with his bare hands and then dug around among the other candies in the container. The candy had to be thrown away because it could not be sold further, which cost the store 1,500 kronor. Now the man, who is suspected of vandalism, is being demanded the same amount in damages.

As evidence, the prosecutor has, among other things, presented a surveillance film and receipts for the destroyed candy.

The man has admitted to the crime.
