The fire alarm was raised at 8:21 a.m. on Friday. The man was taken to hospital, but his life could not be saved.
"A preliminary investigation has been launched to investigate the cause of the fire, and the scene has been cordoned off pending a technical examination," the police wrote.
The police are not providing any further details about the incident out of respect for the next of kin.
