An older man has died in a drowning accident in Storkågeträsket in Skellefteå municipality. The alarm about a suspected drowning accident came in to SOS at 16:45, writes Norran.
Four vehicles from the rescue service and an ambulance were called to the scene.
According to the caller, it is about a man who has been seen out in the water who is no longer visible, says the operator at SOS alarm to the newspaper.
At around 20:00, the police confirm that the man has died. The cause of death is not fully clarified, but the police have no suspicions of crime.
