According to police, the driver suffered a probable cardiac arrest, and a passenger in the car tried to steer it to avoid hitting anyone.
The car drove through a number of gardens and finally collided with a house, police said on their website.
The alarm was received by police at 11 p.m. on Saturday evening. When police and an ambulance arrived at the scene, both people were taken to hospital by ambulance. The driver was later pronounced dead.
Next of kin have been notified. No other people were injured.
