The accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when there were only a few visitors at the swimming pool. Another visitor was able to pull the man out and begin CPR. He was then taken to the hospital but died during the night.
The swimming pool is now closed.
"It's a very serious incident. We are here to provide crisis support to the employees," leisure manager Anders Lexell told the newspaper.
