The man was found in a stairwell on Saturday morning with injuries believed to have been caused by a sharp object. Police and an ambulance were called to the scene and the man was taken to hospital, but he later died from his injuries.
The injuries appear to have occurred in connection with an argument with another man in one of the apartments, where both men appear to have used a cutting instrument. The man then allegedly tried to escape into the stairwell where he was found.
The case is classified as murder and the other man has been arrested, but he has also been taken to hospital.
"It appears to be serious injuries. It has not been possible to speak to him," says Jakob Palmgren, press spokesman for the police in the South Region.
