The man was found in a stairwell on Saturday morning with injuries believed to have been caused by a sharp object. Police and paramedics were called to the scene, and the man died of his injuries.
The injuries appear to have occurred in connection with an argument with another man in one of the apartments, where both men appear to have used a cutting instrument. The man then allegedly tried to flee into the stairwell, where he was found.
The case is being classified as murder and the second man - who is in his 40s - has been arrested. He has been taken to hospital.
"It appears to be serious injuries. It has not been possible to hear him," says Jakob Palmgren, press spokesman for the South Region police.
