Police, ambulance and rescue services were called on Friday morning to a fire in an apartment on Kungsholmen in Stockholm. At 04.42 the rescue services announced that the fire was under control. One person was taken to hospital by ambulance but was later announced to have died.
A report of gross negligence causing public danger has been filed. How the fire started will be further investigated by the police.
