The man is already serving a prison sentence for sexual abuse of children, writes SVT Nyheter Jönköping. According to Wednesday's verdict, which includes 59 counts of child rape and 31 counts of sexual abuse of children, he was sentenced to eight years.
He was previously sentenced to six years in prison; the court has now sentenced him to a further two years, which, according to the district court, brings his total to the maximum sentence, reports Jönköpings-Posten.
The crimes were committed via social media, where he pretended to be a teenage girl when contacting the children.
In addition to the prison sentence, he must also pay nearly eight million kronor to the victims.
