The man is suspected of laundering more than two million kronor through a scheme involving fraudulent invoices and several companies' bank accounts.
"According to the indictment, the man received orders and prepared false invoices. The payments were made into various companies' bank accounts and then forwarded," EBM writes.
According to the prosecutor, the money laundering is linked to a larger case involving the construction industry, in which several people have already been convicted of serious crimes in Sweden and Latvia.
The man was arrested and detained in early September and is being held in custody awaiting trial.
