Man charged with attempted murder at LSS residence after resident tried to strangle employee

The attack was interrupted by a colleague, but when the police arrived, the woman had no pulse. After lifesaving efforts, she regained consciousness and was taken to hospital.

The man has undergone a brief psychiatric evaluation which shows that there is reason to suspect a serious mental disorder. He also has an intellectual disability.
