The man is charged with aggravated murder, aggravated child endangerment and two counts of attempted murder in Rättvik, reports P4 Dalarna.
Both the man and the two children had to be taken to hospital after the incident. According to the prosecution, there was a risk that the fire would spread.
The man denies the charges.
