A man has been arrested on suspicion of, among other things, holding a woman captive for several days in a location in Jämtland, local media report.
The suspected man, who is in his 35-year-old, was arrested on Monday after the woman managed to escape from the residence and raise the alarm.
On Friday, he was remanded in custody on probable cause suspected of rape, aggravated assault and unlawful deprivation of liberty.
The man has previously been convicted of several similar offences against multiple women.
