The man is suspected of a serious violation of the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods, following an incident in Örebro in May. On Wednesday, he was remanded in custody, which Nu i Österåker was first to report.
After being detained in absentia for a couple of months, the man was arrested on an island in the Stockholm archipelago on Sunday.
"They received information that he would be at this location and that's why the police went out," prosecutor Elisabeth Anderson told TT.
Three more people are suspected in the case.
