According to the allegations, the man, together with other persons, bought drones online for the terrorist-stamped Hamas in 2023. The drones were picked up at a location and were to be used by Hamas for terrorist attacks in Denmark or elsewhere. However, the plans were stopped after the police intervened, writes DR.
The man, who has a leadership role in the criminal gang Loyal to familia, was extradited to Denmark from Lebanon in December 2023 – then suspected in the investigation in Kalundborg, in the western parts of Zealand.
Now he is also being accused of involvement in attempted terrorist crimes.
He was arrested for that this morning, says the court's chairman according to DR.
In the afternoon, the court ruled that the man may be held imprisoned until June 11.
The man denies the crime and is also appealing the detention.
