The man has had a European arrest warrant issued against him since Swedish police found two loaded weapons and bulletproof vests in his car.
The man is believed to be linked to a drug network in Sweden that has prepared two murders in Örebro and Stockholm respectively.
Any potential extradition to Sweden will now be decided by a Spanish court.
