The man was arrested last week, reports P4 Stockholm.

In total, there were 15 criminal cases at the beginning of the year. Among the most notable are the murders in Vårby and Malmö, which are said to have been committed by the same 15-year-old girl, and the murder on a bus in Tyresö. All three took place over just three days.

At one point, the man allegedly tried to recruit a 13-year-old for a murder in Malmö, which did not take place. He is suspected of directing the wave of violence via chats with detailed instructions on, among other things, transporting and collecting murder weapons, and booking trips.

According to the prosecution, this is a sophisticated approach. The man's lawyer is opposing the arrest, according to the radio.
