He has been notified of suspicion of murder and he is detained, says prosecutor Kristina Wedelsbäck who leads the preliminary investigation, to the magazine.
The victim, a man in his 80s, was found injured in a residence in a smaller locality in Skurup municipality during the night until Wednesday. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he was confirmed dead. The alarm came from staff in the home care service, who found the man with injuries to the body.
The detained person denies the crime.
