The suspicions concern a total of five cases of sabotage, three in Västervik municipality, one in Eskilstuna and one in Västerås, reports P4 Kalmar .
It was in connection with the incident in Västerås that the man was arrested, prosecutor Elena Severin confirms to SVT Nyheter Småland .
However, she does not want to comment on what type of sabotage the man is suspected of. Local media have previously reported, among other things, about sabotage against a fiber cable at E 22, which was discovered in early October when it was cut in three places.
The man, who is in his 50s, is a resident of Sörmland.
