The man who was arrested after the bomb threat against Danish TV2 in Odense has now been detained. In an email to the editorial office, he threatened to carry out "Denmark's largest attack".
The threat on Thursday morning led to evacuation and many hours of police effort, but no bomb was ever found.
The motive is said to have been dissatisfaction with TV2's Middle East coverage.
The 34-year-old suspect was arrested in his residence in Århus on Thursday evening. The Danish police write on X that he is also suspected of previously threatening people in public service to life on several occasions.
