The assaults took place on three consecutive Sundays and the women, who were on their way to or from their jobs, are suspected to have been randomly selected.
The man attacked the women from behind. According to the prosecutor, the man's intention was to rape them, but the attempts were interrupted when the women resisted.
Luckily, he didn't get very far, says prosecutor Malene Lund Michaelsen.
The attacks took place on Sundays, April 6, 13, and 20. On the night of Sunday, April 27, the suspected man was arrested and subsequently detained, denying any wrongdoing.

The prosecutor has requested that the man be remanded in custody.
