The police have arrested a 65-year-old man outside Kristinehamn suspected of attempted murder.
The alarm came in to the police just before 5 pm on Thursday. The man is suspected of having inflicted injuries on a 50-year-old woman with a sharp object. The incident is said to have taken place in a residence, writes the police on their website.
The woman has been taken to hospital, but the police have no information on how seriously injured she is. The residence is cordoned off for technical investigation and the police have initiated an investigation into attempted murder.
