A 60-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to murder a woman of the same age in Sollentuna, reports TV4 News.
The police were alerted to the assault on Wednesday. A seriously injured woman was found in an apartment. She was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The suspected man was arrested the same day and has now been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
According to media reports, he and the woman had previously had a relationship.
The man denies the crime, writes Aftonbladet.
