The police were alerted to the incident just before lunch.
"We received a call about an injured person. We can confirm that it is a person who needs care and is being taken to hospital," says police spokesperson Katarina Rusin.
The suspected perpetrator was arrested at the scene and was also taken to hospital for treatment.
