We received a call just before 03:00 that someone had seen a rifle barrel sticking out of a window, says the police's press spokesperson Ola Österling to TT.
Aftonbladet, which was the first to report on the incident, has taken part of a film of the incident. In it, the man is seen standing in the window and aiming down at the street with a powerful rifle. In another clip, a uniformed police officer is seen aiming up at the house with a reinforcement weapon.
The task force entered the apartment and the man was arrested. More weapons and ammunition were found in the apartment and were seized by the police, says Österling to TT.
According to the police, the man motivated his actions by being angry about the noise level from cars playing music.
Aftonbladet has spoken to a witness to the incident.
There were some people standing on the other side of the street playing loud music. A woman threw a bottle at them and after that a man came out with a shotgun in the window, he says.
The arrest went smoothly, according to the police. The man is suspected of gross unlawful threats but had a gun license.
