The man, who was then employed in home care, was also originally charged with raping a 94-year-old woman.
The district court acquitted the man on that count, but sentenced him to four years in prison for raping the 100-year-old woman.
The prosecutor had requested deportation, but this was not granted, and therefore the verdict was appealed to the Court of Appeal - which has now acquitted him in both cases.
"The Court of Appeal concludes in its judgment that the evidence in the case is not sufficient and therefore acquits the man," writes the Svea Court of Appeal in a press release.
The events occurred in October last year.
