Since joining Malmö in 2015, Lewicki has made 362 appearances, winning six Swedish championship titles and two cup titles.
When his contract expires at the end of the month, Lewicki has chosen to end his career, which in recent years has been marred by injuries.
The Malmö native previously played in Bayern Munich's youth system and for BK Häcken.
The 33-year-old has made 15 appearances for the Swedish senior team and was an important player when Sweden won gold at the U21 European Championship in 2015.
"It is with both pride and humility that I say thank you. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Thank you for every minute, every game, every memory," Lewicki said in a statement.
