The newspaper has previously revealed that the leaders received salaries worth millions of kronor from a non-profit organization that was 99.9 percent grant-funded.
According to the review, the association has received more than 130 million kronor in grants from the city of Malmö and other authorities for crime prevention work among children and young people. In addition to their salaries, the men received a "commission" when grant applications were approved.
They are suspected of a wide range of financial crimes during the years 2020-2025. Both deny the crime, but have been remanded in custody.
