The Malmö South Ocean Festival is closing down, reports Sydsvenskan.

The festival at Sibbarpsfältet is closing after three years due to low ticket sales.

Last year, the festival was reduced to a one-day event, but that hasn't been enough. Founder Simon Andersson tells Sydsvenskan there are no plans for it to return.

Since 2023, artists such as Florence + the Machine, The Cardigans, Benjamin Ingrosso and Oskar Linnros have played at the festival.
