A shooting has occurred in Malmö, writes Sydsvenskan. The police were alerted at 02 am that shots had been fired at an apartment on the second floor of a multi-family house.
A caller had received a shot through the window, which lodged in the wall. A person was seen leaving the scene, says Thomas Söderberg, duty officer at the police, to Sydsvenskan.
Several people were in the apartment, but no one was injured. The incident is classified as attempted murder and aggravated weapons offense. The police have not yet arrested anyone.
We are now waiting for technicians. It is still cordoned off. Then we work with routine investigative measures. What you start with is trying to map out those living in the apartment and see if there is a threat, says the police's press spokesperson Sara Andersson.
