Jamie Segura followed the match from the press box and cheered loudly when Sead Haksabanovic scored the winning goal with half an hour left in regular time.
This led to angry reactions from home fans below the press stand.
When Segura made his way to the MFF substitutes' bench after the final whistle, a spectator grabbed him and pushed him.
I can understand that there are a lot of emotions among supporters and sometimes it can get out of hand, and it did now, Segura tells TV4 Football Channel.
It is unclear whether he will pursue the matter.
