Malmö FF Secures Comeback Win with Two Goals in Six Minutes

Two class goals by Victor Lind could have given Brommapojkarna a surprise win against Malmö FF. But six minutes changed everything – and MFF won with 3–2. It was damn nice to win, it was a long time coming, says MFF's Hugo Bohlin.

Thanks to the three points, third-placed Malmö FF does not lose ground to Allsvenskan's top teams Mjällby and Hammarby, who have not yet played their matches in the 18th round. Brommapojkarna are further down in the table, six points from a qualifying spot.

It was Hugo Bohlin who initiated the goal scoring at 3 Arena in Stockholm. BP's Victor Stange Lind equalized to 1–1 with a very nice free kick goal.

It was nice to get it in, I have practiced a lot on free kicks, says the Dane to HBO Max.

Lind also made it 2–1, after ten minutes of play in the second half, when he got a good hit on a half-volley.

In the 66th minute, MFF equalized through Otto Rosengren. And six minutes later, BP's Eric Björkander unfortunately scored an own goal.

It was deeply satisfying. I think we were better in the first half but then we come out and get 1–2 against us and have to fight for two goals forward. It was damn nice, says Bohlin about the win to HBO Max.

Gais climbed up to fifth place, just two points behind Malmö FF, after a 3–0 win over Halmstad. It was the Gothenburg team's tenth consecutive match without a loss.
