Malmö FF continues to make success in their first damallsvenska season. On Saturday, newcomers crushed series-leading Djurgården.

Isabella D'Aquila started the scoring in the 24th minute, and also set her second goal of the day when she made it 3–0 after an hour of play.

I'm here to play every match as if it's a championship match, and that's what I did today, says D'Aquila to Viaplay.

Beatrice Persson also got her name in the score sheet, and Sara Kanutte Fornes finished the scoring with her 4–0 goal.

Malmö was so dominant that Kanutte Fornes could even afford to miss a penalty when Anna Koivunen saved for Djurgården.

It's the first loss of the season for Djurgården.

Malmö is the better team today, I'm disappointed in us. We're not playing for each other, we're running and hiding, and Malmö is playing well today. It's just congratulations, they're better, says Djurgården's captain Mimmi Larsson.

Djurgården still tops the league, with a point ahead of new second-placed MFF. But both Hammarby and Häcken can overtake them with a win in their respective matches against Vittsjö and Linköping.

In the match between BP and Växjö, the Stockholm team went towards victory, but then Larkin Russell came forward for the visitors.

The American equalized in the 84th minute and also scored the winning goal in extra time. Växjö won 3–2.
