Malmö had driven almost 150 miles to Piteå and was somewhat sluggish in the last away match before the summer break. But after a first half that ended goalless, the guests put the pedal to the metal in the second and won big with 3–0.
20-year-old Tuva Skoog was one of three players in Malmö's starting lineup – goalkeeper Moa Öhman and defender Ellen Löfqvist were the others – who left Norrbotten and Piteå before the season.
It was special to be back. I had two good years here so it was just super fun, Skoog stated in Viaplays broadcast after the win.
With the win, "The Blues" are now shadowing series leaders Häcken in the table – one point behind. On Monday evening, the eleventh round will be summed up when two other top teams, Hammarby and Djurgården, meet up for points in Stockholm.
