For several years, a Malmö couple manufactured doping substances on a large scale. Now the man is sentenced to six years in prison and the woman to prison for two years and nine months.

They purchased raw materials and processed them into injection solutions and tablets. Malmö District Court calls the business "highly professional".

When the crime was interrupted in December 2024, they had, according to the indictment, almost eight million units of doping substances, which were found at different addresses in Malmö.

Both are convicted of serious doping offenses. The man is considered to have been the driving force in the business and had already started it when the woman became his cohabitant. In her case, the district court takes into account that she has contributed with information that facilitated the police investigation and that she to some extent appears to be exploited.
